The Definitive Guide to Building a Great Locafy Campaign

How do you build a Locafy campaign that performs every time? Use this step by step guide to create campaigns that generate the traffic you and your customers want

1. Business name: if the has any keywords or locations in it, we need to change it to the campaign's domain and capitalise the first word. Generally, we prefer to do that for all of the campaigns regardless of performance. Why is this the recommended process?

    2. We want to make sure there is no repeating of keywords and locations in page titles and URLs which will be considered as keyword stuffing
    3. Also, if the end users own website has a penalty, this will help to avoid the impacts on our pages
2. Page content - Button's label: Please avoid using any of the keywords or locations.
    1. We would recommend some generic terms such as: Our services, About us, Our latest projects, What we offer, etc
3. Page content - Products/Services: Add all of the keywords and anything client wants to rank for here, this is going to help them a lot and don't worry if you are repeating here
4. Keywords: please see below our process based on the structure

    2. Please let the end users know that we have brought relevancy to their initial keywords via products/services and you will see these terms showing up in your GSC if you follow our processes
5. If you have a customer that does not agree with your recommended keywords and insists on using their chosen terms, please try to at least complete the following steps:
    1. Make sure you are not repeating one single word in different keywords too many times (Preference is one time and max is 2 times)
    2. No locations should be used in keywords
    3. No more than 3 words
    4. Please make sure this has been communicated to the end user: "This campaign is not following our optimisations points and processes 100% and it will require more time to show results and we cannot guarantee the success of this campaign, however we will keep monitoring the campaign regularly"
