Some businesses may be located adjacent to a body of water or a low community density area, meaning that they may not be receiving value from the whole geogrid.
As you may know, Locafy Proximity campaigns start with a 7x7 geogrid based on the location where the Google Business Profile was verified or the business is physically situated. This is the origin point or ‘centroid’ of our grid.
For businesses located on the edge of a body of water (like an ocean or lake) or with notable areas of low/zero community density within their geogrid, there may be some concern that the effectiveness of the campaign will be impacted by this placement. We may note this requirement and consult with you about the move in the early stages of building a campaign, or you may have/receive instructions for a move for us to address for you. Either way, we can simply submit a request to shift the grid to a more appropriate zone surrounding the business to improve and better manage your strategy.
If you have any questions regarding the effectiveness of your geogrid location in situations like this, please contact support@locafy.com and we will be happy to review and resolve your request.
