Making changes to keywords and locations on your dashboard is easy but there are other things that need to be done to ensure that your campaign has the best chance to perform.
When making changes to your proximity campaign, the site structure changes each time, URLs are made up of both keywords and locations and it we don't notify Google of the change, it may take some time before they realise something has changed on the landing pages,
Google may be trying to serve pages that no longer exist and if Google tries to serve pages with 404 errors it may penalise the entire site, so it is important that you notify us of any changes so that we can update Google quickly.
The quickest and easiest way is to send an email to support@locafy.com letting us know of the change(s), it could be something as simple as this;
It is important to at least give us the campaign name and what has been changed so that we can react quickly. This will automatically create a support ticket and our support team will attend to it as soon as possible.
You can ask your account manager but the response time is fairly smart with Locafy Support tickets and is the preferred option.
Once support has the request, we will review the changes to ensure there are no glaring issues that could potentially cause a penalty and support will submit the new sitemap as well as request reindexing to ensure the time to get the new pages ranking is as short as possible.
