Can a Proximity Network Solution impact Google maps rankings

Assuming that the Google Business Profile (GBP) and listing citations are properly managed, will a proximity network campaign impact Google Maps rankings? What reporting will be provided in the Locafy dash?

Yes, the network effect does come into play (source Google). Google Business Profiles are ranked based on the following criteria:

Prominence: How well known the business is, leveraging information that Google gets from across the web

Proximity: Distance between Searcher and Result

Relevancy: How well the GBP matches the Search Intent "More reviews and positive ratings can improve your business' local ranking. Your position in web results is also a factor, so search engine optimization (SEO) best practices apply." This applies to the whole kit, so a website that is slow, irrelevant or broken, will not help us achieve our goals.

From a reporting point of view, we won't have the GBP connected if we use a proximity network solution but we still report on the following in the dashboard;

  1. Impressions Engagement and Leads from the Network

  2. Rank Position of each Keyword Location Combination
